Milestone Planning Tool

The Milestone Planning Tool leverages AI to help you create a structured, sequential implementation plan based on the components defined in your revision draft. It's designed to turn a collection of architectural components into an actionable project plan.

Getting Started

To begin, select a Revision Draft from the header. This will load all the operations (components) defined within that draft, making them available for planning.

The Planning Process

The tool follows a simple three-step process to generate a milestone plan.

1. Select Components

From the list of "Operations in Draft," check the boxes next to the components you want to include in the plan. You can select all components at once using the "Select All" checkbox.

2. Provide Constraints (Optional)

In the "Suggest Milestones" card, you can provide optional text-based constraints to guide the AI. This is where you can specify team size, business priorities, or a desired timeline (e.g., "small team, prioritize security features first").

3. Generate Milestones

Click the "Suggest Milestones" button. The AI will analyze the selected components and your constraints to produce a logical plan.

Reviewing and Exporting the Plan

The AI's output is displayed on the right and includes a high-level Planning Summary and a list of Suggested Milestones. Each milestone details the components included, estimated effort, and dependencies.

Once you are satisfied, you can use the Download button to export the plan as a structured JSON file or a shareable PDF document.
